Meghan Markle's 5 Best Fashion Looks

Meghan Markle is our hero in so many ways – apart from being a philanthropist who cares and she’s an
incredible style icon. She does it a little different from Kate Middleton, and doesn’t necessarily
follow the style rules. But that’s what we love about her! Meghan wasn’t always so primp and proper
before her princess preparations, but she’s navigated royal style life beautifully. Here are our
favorite pre-wedding looks, all leading up to the big moment.

Anzac Day Services
At the official Anzac Day services, Markle wore a round, black Philip Treacy fascinator paired with
an elegant Jackie O inspired suit by Emilia Wickstead, made up of a crepe midi skirt and cropped
jacket. It was an understated but supremely stunning look to fit the somber tone, while still adding
texture and creating a dynamic look with the unique and meticulously angled beret-style fascinator
hat. Simple and chic, in classic Markle style.

Women Empowerment Reception
At the Women Empowerment Reception in London, Markle looked ravishing in black once again. This was the
ultimate lesson in sticking to simplicity when it comes to every woman’s necessity: the notorious little
black dress, or LBD. Here, she opted for another midi silhouette in this dress by Black Halo, with a
skinny belt and ankle-wrap stilettos, accessorized with the ultimate clutch and white gold earrings. We
love the asymmetrical neckline, which adds depth.

Commonwealth Day Ceremony.
Here, Markle made an appearance that was her first public event with the queen, at the Commonwealth Day
Ceremony. She opted for a beret-style hat once again, this time in cream, which made for a very striking
look. The matching cream jacket and navy dress. Perfectly paired accessories included a navy bag and
pointy suede navy stilettos. The navy and cream color combination looked absolutely flawless.

Sydney Invictus Game Reception
Markle usually says yes to neutrals, but she made a bright print statement with this green, floral
day dress by Self-Portrait in her visit to the Invictus Game reception hosted by the Australian
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his wife. Layered over, she wore a dark Alexander McQueen blazer
accessorized with earrings, with pointy toed pumps. She didn't wear tights and left her hair down
which was a bit rebellious for the royals, but It came together for an overall ladylike effect that
made her look radiant.

Belfast, Northern Ireland
For Markle’s visit to Belfast in northern Ireland, she paired a classic creamy neutrals with rich tones
for a devastatingly stylish look. She opted for a dark green midi skirt, this time, featuring an
innovative hemline. She stayed cozy in a cream cashmere sweater and a gorgeous camel-toned, front drape
wool coat with a bag in hand. The russet-toned pumps, and added a dark romance to the look.
