Celeb quarantine outfits: From Pajamas to Indoor Street Style

TREND / 2020-05-13

COVID-19 has forced almost the entire America, Europe and other parts of the world into self-isolation and social distancing, as everyone – including celebrities are being forced to stay inside. While this may not be something you aren’t hearing for the 1000th time, celeb quarantine outfits are something you might not witness very often. Social media in the days of quarantine has shown us that celebs are just like us!

Instagram is on fire these days, with celebs and influencers finding new ways of content sharing like live streams, shared live streams, TikTok videos, home workouts, cooking, etc. And to top it all, most of them are sharing photos and videos on social media completely makeup-free! Stars like Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa, and Hailey Bieber seem to be enjoying the fact that they have nowhere to go or glam up for. To complement their roomy houses, marble stairs, and luscious lawns, celebs are sauntering into the home cinema in some of their best ‘comfy’ looks. Interestingly (and oddly!), celebrities are fully embracing the 90’s styles. We are yet to decode these retro throwback looks.

Moving on, if you are wondering how many days we can wear sweats, and play dress-up at home, we have compiled a list of celebrity styles for some chic inspiration.

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner seems to be unconcerned with fashion-forward outfits. She has been sporting a wide array of matching tracksuits. Well, we agree. If you’re going to spend all day at home, why not be as comfortable as possible?

Chiara Ferragni

Famous influencers are not any less when it comes to the fashion game. Take Italian blogger, Chiara Ferragni for instance. She recently posted a photo of her cute hello kitty Pj set. She is lounging and soaking in the sun, wearing black sunglasses. Maintaining a balance between casual and cool, the social media maven has long understood how to play with proportions when putting together her ensembles. If this is not the right girl way to do quarantine-loungewear, we don't know what is!

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez knows how to look like a million bucks in a plain jane matching pajama set for sure. While trying her hand at cooking these days, she is making our hearts melt with her candid and cozy pictures.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley

Who said pajamas have to be set all the time? Supermodel Rosie Huntington Whiteley rocked a sexy, silky, pearl white shirt recently. TBH, we want to live in this look all day!

Elizabeth Banks

And then there’s Elizabeth Banks, who inexplicably dressed in leopard print pajamas with no make-up. It looks like she is turning her sleepwear into smart wear. Needless to say, we can never get enough of animal prints!

Hailey Bieber

A sun-kissed Hailey Bieber sticking to an oversized red t-shirt, seems to have forgotten about trousers entirely. Everyone’s got old baggy t-shirts, celeb or no-celeb!

With no parties or red carpet events to attend, it certainly is a strange time for fashion. While the list of stars with cool sleep/lounge/home outfits, some celebrities are helping us remember what jeans, glitter and cinched waists used to feel like. Take a look ahead.

Lady Gaga

This one brings no surprise, as we don’t really see Lady Gaga as a tracksuit kind of person. Studded leather jackets, exaggerated patches, animal prints and cool sunglasses are more her things. While Gaga’s outfit situation is cute, we like how she made sure that her dogs get the best spot on the sofa. They are family, after all!

Mariah Carey

Quarantine or not, Mariah Carey is never not-dressing up. And we’re sure of it now, more than ever. Maria posted a photo on her Instagram, wearing a sexy black outfit while she spent her birthday in isolation with family. Her black mesh and glitter outfit, with dreamy hair and her signature no-make-up makeup, is thoroughly impressive.

We hope to have cheered you up a bit by now, and it’s time to get out of bed, and experiment with some new quarantine fashion. While you're at it, pick some trendy apparel below and stay stylish!
