Brandon Maxwell is an American fashion designer who launched his eponymous label in 2015. Since then, he has had a long trail of celebrity supporters like Lady Gaga and Blake Lively, the newest addition being the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. The popularity of the Brandon Maxwell label reached a new strength when he became Gaga’s fashion director in 2012 and remains till date. Brandon Maxwell is an inspiration for young designers across the world for the incredible journey that he has had. It is interesting to see how a fashion outsider found a way to hold his ground in the luxury fashion industry.

Gorgeous celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Elizabeth Moss, Nicole Kidman, and Jennifer Aniston have been wearing his creations on the red carpet from years. The pale peach sheath dress and matching blazer from his spring/summer 2019 collection that the Duchess of Sussex donned earlier this year for a visit to the National Theatre in London, made it the third time she wore the brand since marrying Prince Harry. Also, an entourage of supermodels like the Hadid sisters and Karlie Kloss are muses to Maxwell.
