A considered collection of separates, Atea Oceanie is the latest in minimalist collections of women’s apparel to hit the market. Designed by New Zealand native and Brown University graduate, Laura Meyers seeks to create relaxed, elegant and wearable clothes with a 90’s minimalism that exudes modern American sportswear. Following her graduation in 2002 from Brown University, Meyers enrolled in summer school at Parsons and went on to work for a number of brands, including Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi and, most recently, for New Zealand women’s wear designer Trelise Cooper.

With four collections per year Atea Oceanie has become best known for its relaxed tailoring and effortless, menswear-inspired shirting. For Fall 2015, Myers went a little more sensual and sophisticated then previous seasons, featuring silhouettes that are closer to the body, while keeping to the brand's relaxed feel.
