What to wear to the next spring wedding?

Once spring officially kicks off, we’re betting your social calendar will start filling up with weddings. And if you are a guest at a springtime wedding, or more than one, you have plenty of options, now that the latest collections have hit your favourite stores! We suggest injecting some playful colour, like cheery marigold and sweet pastel pink, or flirty patterns, such as florals, into your wedding-day attire, to really nail that spring wedding look.
Shopping for a spring wedding ensemble can be delightfully easy-if you do it right. Stores start stocking up on spring attire as early as January (they want you to have options!), and if you're as excited to shed your winter wear as we are, you'll be more than excited at the site of pastels, airy fabrics, and florals. This year you'll find that silk, slip dresses, yellow, colour blocks- from vivid magentas to striking red- to polka dots, and one-shoulder silhouettes will be at the top of every wedding guest's shopping list. Choose vibrant jewel tones and pops of color for daytime dressing in spring for a look that's bound to stand out from the pack. Rather than jumping into summer too quickly, mix in the rich fabrications most associated with the cooler months–like velvet and exotic skins–to take a day dress from too-casual to warm-weather cocktails.
FLORAL POWER
So spring is right around the corner and we suggest you take the theme of the season literally when dressing for warm weather weddings. You cannot go wrong with pastels at celebrations that will most likely take place outdoors, and softer colors always feel right for parties that are pre-summer.
