Sensible postpartum diet is the way of Khloe Kardashian's postpartum weight loss
The Kardashian babies have a reputation for being as popular as the elder 2 generations in the family. The third youngest, Khloe Kardashian made news last year with her first child, daughter True, who was born in April 2018. This time, the Kardashian sister’s pre-baby weight and post-baby transformation was also the talk of social media. When her little girl was just five months old in September 2018, Khloé managed to get back to shape and shed those extra kilos. From her diet to her workout regime, here’s all that you need to know about Khloe Kardashian’s weight loss.
34-year-old Khloe is fitter than ever before and closer to her ultimate fitness goals. Thanks to her American workout trainer who also trained her partner Tristan Thompson. Her personal trainer, Joel Bouraima said that she lost 40 lbs., which basically means she is right around where she was before the pregnancy. Thanks to her immense dedication and exercising 6 days a week, she was always able to upgrade the workouts. And therefore she reached her goals quickly.
According to the buzz sometime back, Khloe’s mother, Kris Jenner once accused her of damaging their family’s brand value with her voluptuous figure. Then there was a time when Khloe was mercilessly believed to be known for being the 'fat sister'. Body shaming is not easy to deal with, even for celebs and it sure has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride for the naturally curvy star. Khloe never paid heed to any of her mom’s pressure inducing comments and instead set fitness goals to ‘feel’ better rather than focussing on her appearance. Fast-Forward to 2019, Khloe talked about how she didn't put any pressure on herself to lose the baby weight and focussed on being healthy inside-out.
During the past month, Khloe Kardashian hasn’t been shy about showing off her post-baby body transformation on keeping up with the Kardashians. Her trainer also revealed that he had put her multifunctional movements, which not only helped her build stamina but also burnt a lot of body fat. Resistance training and cardiovascular exercises were also a major part of her gym routine. Her 6-days a week workout was broken down in doing two-a-days. They did one workout in the morning and then another one in the same afternoon or night.
Khloe, who is known for embracing a healthy lifestyle shared fitness tips on her app during her transformation period in 2018 (Kardashian-Jenner sisters stopped running their apps in December 2018). She suggested modifying simple moves with combinations like hot yoga and circuit training. For abs, she used weight, and a BOSU ball practice. Khloe also included renegade row and mountain climbers to her routine, focussing on engaging the core and arms. Her fitness routine includes ‘The DB Method’ as well – an at-home workout machine designed for non-impact squats to strengthen the spine, tone body, and make butts firm. Further, she revealed that she doesn’t believe that gym membership is necessary to kick-off your fitness journey. She keeps a kettlebell set, yoga mats, and jump ropes in her garage to be ready all the time.
Khloe avoided carbs throughout the day. Here’s what her postpartum diet included :
- A low-carb diet given by her nutritionist, Dr. Goglia, which had a lot of protein.
- One tablespoon of jam and one tablespoon of almond butter before the workout.
- Post workout, she ate two eggs, one cup of oatmeal and one cup of fresh seasonal fruit.
- A piece of high-energy fruit, such as an apple or banana for a morning snack.
- A four-ounce piece of grilled chicken breast with a small portion of yam or white rice for the starch in it. Sides include a veggie salad dressed simply with an oil-based vinaigrette.
- Dinner was limited to an 8-ounce piece of fish along with four ounces of yams.
According to her doctor’s recommendations, high iron vegetables like spinach, beetroot, asparagus, and broccoli are the best options to stick to. The chicken in lunchtime can also be swapped for another lean meat, that is not fried but grilled, steamed, baked or broiled.
Just like us, celebs also like to snack throughout the day and for that, Khloe advised choosing more fruits, nuts or simply cherry tomatoes.
Khloe had also put a special Instagram story highlights called “Khlo-Fit” dedicated to her beast-mode updates which are not available anymore.
