Founder and creative director Alessandro Dell’Acqua takes a nostalgic approach for No.21’s
Pre-Spring ’18 collection, looking no further than the archives of his namesake label for
inspiration. A procession of transparent textiles lends an ultra-feminine feel to the collective,
with sheer organzas, sultry laces, pleated charmeuses and touches of tulle.
Sporty, urban styling keeps it contemporary with drawstring hoodies, tough contrast trims, cozy
knits, leather outerwear and waist-cinching belts. A palette of pastels appeals to
monochromatic, minimalist wardrobes, while ornate tonal embellishment give it that
something-special. Italian craftsmanship lies at the heart of the label, making space for the
artistic freedom of unexpected design details which the No.21 customer has come to covet.
